Payment and Refund Policy

Important Note: This is the standard payment and refund policy. Course fees and subsequent payment and refund policies may vary between locations and are subject to change prior to enrolment without notification. If a course has a different payment and refund policy, the payment and refund policy will be available on the particular course's information page under Class Locations.

All payments for this course are to be made payable to: Universal Education and Training Ltd

Subject to Centrelink's assessment of individual circumstances, students may be eligible for Youth Allowance, Austudy, ABSTUDY and Pensioner Education Supplement payments. Students need to apply to Centrelink with the Course details.

Payment Terms and Conditions

When you Enrol, you also need to make the first payment, and please be aware that:
  • you are committing to paying for the whole Course
  • there are no refunds (unless the Course does not go ahead - eg due to lack of enrolments)
  • if you were to pull out part way through, you would still have to pay the whole amount owing for the Course
  • it's like a phone contract - you are "locked in" until the whole amount is paid over the time you commit to

The Payment Plans available are: 
Option 1: Pay $1000 when you enrol, then $1000 ten weeks later, then $1000 10 weeks after that (TOTAL of $3,000). 
Option 2: Pay $400 when you enrol, then 20 x $145 per fortnight (TOTAL of $3,300).
Option 3: Pay $400 when you enrol, then 40 x $75 per fortnight (TOTAL of $3,400).

Your Course fee covers Course materials and an Apple iPad or similarly priced tablet, laptop or notebook.
Alternatively, if you do not want one of these electronic devices, we will reduce the fee by $400

If you want to get the Diploma an additional $1,100 will be payable 30 weeks after you enrol in the Course.
The option of getting the Diploma will be discussed further as the Course progresses throughout the year.
You will need to be completing assessment at Diploma level to be eligible.

If you want to proceed with 4D Training, please enrol and make the first payment.

Payment Conditions:
  • If using the Option 2 or 3, students must have a Payment plan in place prior to commencement of the Course.
  • Payment Plans authorise UNET to receive your payments by direct debit (credit or bank account).
  • Your Certification will not be issued until your course fees have been paid in full.

Refund Policy

No refunds apply to any payments made for the Course.

Course Resources

The Course Fee covers the learning and assessment materials used in classes, and an Apple IPad.

Please note: UNET has a policy of retaining all assessment submitted by students. Therefore, if students require a copy of their assessment item, they will need to make a copy prior to submitting the assessment.

Possible Additional Fees

Extension Fee
Students are required to complete this Course within 12 months of the starting date of the Course. If students required additional time beyond this time, they can apply for an extension. Students requesting an extension may be required to pay an extension fee. 

The Extension Fee will vary depending on the amount of outstanding assessment that you have to complete, the amount of time you have requested and if any previous extension has been given. As an example; if most Course Work and just a few assessments need to be completed in 3 months and no previous extension has been given, then the fee may be waived entirely. If you need to complete a few units and have already been granted an extension, you may be asked to pay $110 per month. However, if very little or no Course work/assessment has been completed and you wish to transfer into a new class, then the maximum Extension Fee of up to $4,000 may apply. The Extension Fee may therefore vary from $0 to $4,000.*

You can only apply for up to 6 months at a time. Multiple extension requests can be made, however the total maximum enrolment period is 2 years (24 months from your start of study date).

Document Reissue Fee
A Document Reissue fee will apply in the event that a student requests the reissue of a Certificate, or Competency Transcript, or Statement of Attainment issued by UNET that they had previously received. The Reissue Fee is $99*
